When traveling to Great Falls, MT, most vacationers are probably excited about all of the activities that they will be able to do in the great outdoors. The area has plenty of attractions for all members of the family. One of the most popular of the attractions in the area is the Lewis & Clark National Historic and Interpretive Center.

When you arrive at the facility, you will be treated to a 30-minute video, and you will be able to explore the 5500 square foot exhibit hall. The Center also has activities that are just for the kids in the family.

Visitors will enjoy the hiking trails at the Center too. The Center is a great place to get some fresh air on the trails and to learn about a portion of America's history in the very area that it took place. Anyone who comes to the area for a vacation should try to spend at least a few hours at the Center.

Various events are held throughout the year, and it is a good idea for anyone who is planning a vacation to check the Center's website to see what events are coming up.

The facility is located in the northeastern part of Great Falls, MT, at 4201 Giant Springs Road, and it is open throughout the year. Depending on the time of year you are vacationing, the hours are different. From Memorial Weekend until September 30, the Center is open from 9AM until 6PM everyday. From October 1 until Memorial Weekend the facility is open from 9AM until 5PM Tuesday through Saturday. On Sundays, the Center is open from 12PM until 5PM.

Children 15 and under are admitted to the facility free of charge. For those who are 16 and over, the fee is just $8.
