Motorcycle Routes in Great Falls and Beyond

Montana is the ideal vacation spot for many different reasons, but at the top of the list is the many scenic drives in Montana. If you are traveling by car or by motorcycle you will find that there are numerous scenic drives in Montana as well as motorcycle clubs in Montana that will provide you with the ideal opportunity to see the true beauty of this local area.

Russell Country Motorcycle Routes provides some of the best motorcycle rides in the state if not the entire country. If you are interested in learning more about history while you ride, you might also wish to consider following the Lewis and Clark route or the C.M. Russell Route. The Last Battle Route is also an excellent option to consider as well. Along the way on these routes you will encounter some spectacular scenery and geography, so make sure you bring along your camera to highlight the trip. Just a few of the things you may see along the way include plains, peaks, mountains and some of the most gorgeous scenic byways in the nation. Of course, if all you are interested in is simply riding, there are plenty of routes for that as well. Try the Figure 8 and Big Loop routes, both of which are excellent for motorcycle enthusiasts, although the latter is somewhat lengthy and does require some time.

When planning your trip you should be aware that some rides do last longer than others, so you should plan accordingly. For example, the C.M. Russell Ride is nearly 250 miles long and last approximately five and a half hours. The Last Battle Ride is 276 miles long but will only take you about three and a half hours. The Cowboy Ride is significantly shorter at around 130 miles and lasting only two and a half hours. The Big Loop and the Lewis and Clark Rides are among the longest rides. The Lewis and Clark Ride is over 300 miles and lasts just over seven hours. The Big Loop is just what the name implies at just over 400 miles and lasting for nearly seven and a half hours. For the longer rides you may wish to break the rides up into sections and plan ahead of time for layovers.

Whether you are looking for a historical ride or just one that lets you get out and feel the wind in your face, Montana has plenty of options.
