Shop for fresh produce at farmers markets in Great Falls, Montana
Farmers Markets in Great Falls, Montana

The Great Falls Montana Farmers Market is an excellent place for visitors and residents alike to gather together, socialize and shop for fresh fruits and vegetables from some of the best farms and orchards in the local area. The market takes place in Civic Center Park each Saturday morning beginning at 7:45 am and lasting through noon from June through September 26th. In addition, Great Falls farmers markets are also sometimes held on Wednesday evenings from 4:30 to 6:30pm. Visitors will find that there is truly something for everyone at these markets. Regardless of whether you are looking for fresh produce and fruits, jellies and jams, baked goods or even a unique gift from one of the many local talented crafters, you will be certain to find something that will delight you at the markets in Great Falls.

If you happen to be feeling hungry while you are there, you will also find that there are plenty of delicious offerings to sample as well. Some of the things you can try at the market include smoothies, fry bread, porkies on a stick and much more. In addition, not only are there all types of foods and produce, but there are plenty of activities and entertainment options as well. The kids will certainly love the pony rides while the adults will want to be sure to catch the variety of live musicians that are always present.

Keep in mind that if you are interested in making a purchase it is a good idea to make sure that you arrive at the market in Great Falls early. Cut flowers, vegetables and other items that are hard to find and popular tend to go fast and early. Of course, if you are only interested in socializing then anytime is a good time to arrive at the market.

To make sure that your trip to the market is as enjoyable as possible, remember that it is a good idea to bring a wagon or cart with you, especially if you plan to make a lot of purchases. You may also refer to bring some eco-friendly bags with you that you can fill with purchases of flowers, produce and more.

Even if you are not planning to shop, the farmer's market in Great Falls is an excellent place to meet others, particularly those who grow much of the produce and fruits in the local area.
